What is kept, and why
Your reviews and comments stay — anonymised. Criticat is a shared record of how places are seen, and removing reviews would leave holes in that record for everyone else. After deletion, your reviews and comments no longer carry your name, username, or photo; they are shown as written by an anonymous "Stray Cat". Nothing in them can be traced back to you.
If you want specific reviews or comments removed entirely rather than anonymised, ask us at criticat.app@gmail.com under your privacy rights (see the Privacy Policy, section 10).
Other retained data, kept only for as long as necessary:
- Your username stays reserved so nobody can impersonate your former account by claiming it.
- Abuse reports you filed or that were filed about your content are kept for moderation and safety records.
- Crash reports and aggregate analytics are not linked to your account and expire on Google's standard schedules (see the Privacy Policy).
